The South Shore Motorcycle Club was founded in 1931 by a group of motorcycle enthusiasts mainly interested in racing. In 1958, the club acquired the land in Amityville where the clubhouse was erected entirely by the membership. Through the years the membership has turned mostly to road riding, although several members still race on occasion. Quite a few members travel near and far to attend rallies anywhere from Laconia to Daytona to Sturgis. We, as a club, ride everything from cruisers to sportbikes to touring bikes. Any and all brands of motorcycle are welcome. Meetings are held every Thursday evening at 9:00PM at 6 Seabro Avenue, Amityville, NY. The club also rides every Sunday, usually leaving the Seabro Avenue location around 9:00AM. Guests are welcome at all times. For further information, call 631-478-2818 or 631-842-8662.
